Tim Crisp from Sustainable Charlbury will talk about the Southill Solar farm project on Tuesday 31 October at 7.30pm at the Carter Institute.
In 2012 Sustainable Charlbury embarked on a hugely ambitious project to create a local community owned solar farm. The project was successful and Southill Solar began generating clean electricity in 2016 and generates enough power to cover the equivalent electricity consumption of Charlbury and two nearby villages. The project lead, Tim Crisp, will explain all at the Carter Institue on Tuesday 31 October at 7.30pm. Come along to find out more, all welcome!
