Located along Main street on the corner of Wicks Close these shelves are open for all to use. Seasonal produce from the Community allotment is placed on the shelves for anyone to take and use. All items on the shelves are free but if you would like to make a donation to the community allotment for seeds and tools then please use the lock box provided on the shelves or post through the front door of Bumblebee Cottage on Main street. The village has really embraced the sharing shelves so throughout the year there are often many other items available including fresh local chickens eggs, bread from the wonderful village bakery; Blakes, and plants and produce from local gardens. The village Facebook page often has an update with what has recently been placed on the shelves.
The sharing shelves also includes a Colgate Terracycling collection box to help the village recycle toothpaste tubes.
In addition to the sharing shelves there are also Food Bank boxes with non perishable goods and toiletries in the porch of the church that are free to anyone who needs them.
